Labor & Employment

Construction

Construction projects require careful planning. Horowitz Law Group counsels owners and contractors at each phase of the design and construction process, so issues do not become problems.  The Firm’s construction services include the following:

  • Negotiating and drafting contracts between owners and contractors, as well as agreements with subcontractors, architects and suppliers

  • Filing and discharging mechanic’s liens

  • Counseling on claims involving defective work, extra work, sureties, suspension of work, delays and termination of contract

  • Resolution of disputes through mediation, arbitration and/or litigation

Commercial Litigation

Horowitz Law Group represents companies in a broad array of corporate legal issues.  As part of our representation, we often serve as general/in-house counsel to our clients, and provide strategic advice on forming/dissolving companies, as well as negotiating and administering commercial contracts.

We have represented clients in a variety of contract disputes involving:

  • Operating agreements

  • Buy/sell agreements, including asset purchase agreements

  • Non-compete and confidentiality agreements

  • Service and consulting agreements

The Firm’s representation extends to disputes among members and partners of a legal entity, including claims involving breach of fiduciary duty, dissociation, dissolution and fraud.
